We
are working independently with local Karen organizations who
have very limited funding due to their refugee status. All
of our projects are funded by private donors. Our personal
costs have been covered for the year and we have received
sufficient donations to make some good trainings happen throughout
the year.
But
we would like to be able to support other project costs of
the organizations that we are working with. We would also
like to put more resources into education and counseling trainings.
If you would like to support education for the Karen refugees
and IDPs in Burma your donation will be tax-deductible if
made through the First Baptist Church. You can specify what
you would like to make a donation for...

costs for KYO or KWO
Another
option is to sponsor further education for a youth. The cost
would probably be around $3,000 for one year of a four year
university education. Please contact us if you are interested
in doing this and we can put you in contact with a youth who
is looking for a sponsor.
